thecreatorbench is a tiny New Mexico studio run by two people who got tired of phone photos that looked thin, video calls that looked dim, and the rushed self-timer sprint. So we made the four small accessories we wanted ourselves — ring lights, wireless shutters, foldable tripods, and clip-on lenses — and now we make them for other creators too.
What we believe
Fewer objects.
Better ones.
The shelf is intentionally small. If a product can't carry its own weight against the next best thing in its category, it doesn't go on. That's the whole rule.
How we choose
Every product on the bench either solves a problem we have personally, or one a close friend has asked us about more than three times. That's a low bar in some ways and a high one in others — it filters out a lot of "could be useful for someone." The four categories we currently ship — ring lights, wireless camera remotes, selfie sticks & tripods, and phone camera lenses — are simply the four things we kept reaching for and not quite finding.
How we make
We work with two manufacturers in Shenzhen who do small runs and let us obsess over the things that usually get cut to hit a price point — clamp tension, lens optics, dimmer-wheel feel, the way a Bluetooth pairing actually behaves on the first try. Every shipment lands in our Albuquerque studio for a final QC pass before it goes to you. Nothing is white-labelled in a way we wouldn't want disclosed on the box.
How we ship
From our Albuquerque studio, by USPS or UPS, in recycled and recyclable packaging. Standard shipping is free. Returns are thirty days, opened or unopened — and we cover the return shipping label on anything you've actually used.
